I think I actually had more fun in my lemons car on Shenandoah then my car. IMO more of a momentum track.

I was at the Porsche road show on shenandoah two weeks ago, talking to one of the chief instructors I asked "what do you think of this track?" his response was amusing "you couldn't pay me a lot of money to race on this track, way to dangerous for fast cars"

I'll be on Summit Main with the NJ BMWCCA Chapter at the end of July - and on Summit Shenandoah with NJ in September.

Shenandoah is a great technical track - and NJ does a configuration that almost no-one else does. Both will be great events.

Hey Jerry, have you done Shenandoah before? If you and Dave are going, I'll sign up. See you at Summit Point Main in July!

Kind regards,
Chris

See you guys there for the NJBMWCCA July 28/29 HDPE school/CR.

Would be great to put a name to some online-faces.

I'll be an AW E92 M3, hopefully with a bunch of trackworthy bolt-ons finally installed.

Be very careful of the wall at turn 22. There is very little room for error.

Have fun guys. I cant make this one but I'll be back at Summit Point in September with the National Capital Chapter.

I thought Summit Point, main track, had only 10 turns?

He is referring to Shenandoah. SPR Main still has the same number of turns

Nice meeting some of you at the track (sorry cannot relate the screen name). Estoril Blue, are you Allen (if so thx again for taking Chris out). The weather was great and it was good fun none the less! Went through a set of front brake pads (PF01) AGAIN at the track

My pleasure. From his comments he enjoyed his time on track. Good seeing you there.

How many track days did you get out of a new set of PF01s? I just put them on for first time at this event. Those pads are not cheap.

Great fun this weekend and thanks to everyone that helped me out this weekend.

Anyone going down to Tarheel VIR next month?

Thanks, Todd

Tood, the rears have lasted me about 6 days and it looks like I 'may' be able to get 2 more. The fronts, I have been going through a DARN set each weekend right down to the backing plate or almost 2mm

I may try a set of PFC08 next time around, the 01 has a great bite and I can hang in there with almost anyone in the instructor's session during braking but it comes at a steep price.

Wow! A front set of PF01s a weekend hurts the pocket book. I have a weekend on mine and have not taken them off to see what is left. I will and report back. Are you running stock calipers or BBK? I am running Stoptech BBK now.

Also, do you have any idea what laptimes are good for our cars on Main track at Summit?
