Darien Detail - My Recommended PPF Shop!

Hi All,

Not sure if I'm allowed to post this (apologies in advance to forum moderators and members if this is against forum rules) but I got my car back yesterday from Darien Detail after doing PPF for:

Full front (hood, fenders, bumpers, headlights, strip on my IND grille), rocker panels, mirrors, inner door-sills, 3/4 rear panel, lower rear bumper area, trunk sill area, and about 1/2" on doors by the rocker panels.

I've been looking for a PPF place in the Connecticut area for MONTHS prior to delivery and haven't found anyone I really felt confident going to until I recently saw the Nick Murray YT video on PPFing his new Macan S, and decided on Darien Detail.

Place is amazing, Dirk (the owner) is an AWESOME guy to work with, and I highly recommend his shop for anyone looking for a PPF specialist in the tri-state area.

Here are some pics of my car, hope you all enjoy!

They must flog that film in the US WAY cheaper than in the UK because i only ever see bulk fitting done stateside than in the UK where its all precut kits making use of every inch of film. Just the waste on that bonnet would be enough for A pillars and roof line!

Maybe, I’m not sure. I’d have to think the cost of labor and time is a much bigger factor than the material cost since it comes on giant rolls and isn’t made of exotic materials.
