My 08 AW... first pics 2 weeks old & Friends GTI

Went out today and snapped some pics of my car... I know I need reflectors and bulbs. I got tint and lip done first week so I'll be ordering more stuff soon.

Cars look awesome together I see you have the aero lip. How was the install? I will be doing this very shortly.

What do you mean what is going on with the side skirts? The body line is a little hard to see because it was crappy direct sunlight but other than that I dunno what you are talking about.

The camera is a Canon 20D. Pics were used with either my 85mm prime or my 10-22mm.

Is the 335i lowered? or stock sport package suspension? Looks beautiful!! I love the way the OEM sport package wheels look. IMO.. I'd keep it simple and get painted reflectors and keep it at that... maybe some DiMisa exhaust tips.

Thanks! I'm just sitting on the stock sport package. I don't plan on doing much exterior wise, I like simple. My last car was an S2k and the outside was pretty stock besides OEM lip and lowered on BBS LMs so I'll be going a similar route with this car.

I barely did much sharpening to them but I guess someone always has to have something negative to say huh? Some I blew the contrast out on purpose too. I haven't snapped pics in a while so I got to just playing around some while I was trying to edit them real quick last night so I could post them. It was also a shitty time of day to shoot since it was middle of the day and direct sunlight. Thanks though.

Prime lenses are really all that super expensive like my 85mm I used. It's not L glass or anything just the standard the 85mm from Canon. The 10-22 isn't an L glass either. As little as I do I can't justify buying the L glass yet but it would be nice. The vignetting on some I added in from the RAW editor in PS. Thanks!

Hey Dark - I don't think that guy meant to be negative...Looking at the first picture I think he said way too much sharpening because of the jagged looking edges. I think the jagged edges are because the photo needed to be resized (smaller) before posting.

We just joined the V-dubs family too, however our's are all black. Black Merc, Black BMW, Black VW...lol.
