Ambient Air

Hi guys,

For the life of me, I can't install these ambient air cartridges. I looked at the manual, checked youtube (all I could find was the 7 series platform which is different from the G01).

My dealership wasn't able to do it.

So I'm sitting here with these two air cartridges and absolutely no clue on how to install them. Any help?

I installed one of the cartridges yesterday. The part that looks like a SIN card (chip) should be facing away from the cartridge holder, the manual has pretty straightforward instructions.

They'll also feel a little on the loose side once inserted, then just push the door up

I tried it tonight for the first time and I should say: as far as I read it's expensive, but the smell is good (at least on level 1).
I wish it was (way) cheaper or there was aftermarket options.

agreed. Its a nice addition to the car and the two sample scents smell very good. If it wasn't so expensive, I would continue to buy them. BMW totally overpriced this

Yeah, it should be way cheaper. Besides, one thing I don't understand: why on Earth they have to split the glove compartment in half because of the fragrance system?!!!
