Rear middle head restraint move up and down?

Does the middle rear head restraint move up and down on yours? I can’t imagine that the middle position is only for height challenged people.

Mine’s really tight into the seat back and wont budge without feeling like it’s going to break if you try to pull it up. I can’t even really tell if there’s a push button to put it down like the others. The 2 manuals don’t reference the middle one moving specifically.

Both of my E92s came from the factory with the rear ones really stiff like that, but it was obvious that they were meant to move, and after I wrestled them up the first time, they were smooth as silk.

Thanks!

Thanks. Mine’s going to the dealer tomorrow for something else, so I’ll add this to the list.

I’ll give an update after I get it back.

Middle rear is fixed, not adjustable or removable. Most likely they don't want to obstruct driver rear view and that there's a center armrest.

I'd think a human head sitting in the middle would also obstruct my view. If there's one riding there, I'd like to see it protected

I just picked up my GO5 up from service and the middle one does not extend. Glad I didn't wrestle with it!

I'm not sure if the owners manual states the rear center headrest doesn't move, but the OM for the G01 says it. Should be the same for the G05. Many things between the two are.
