Help finding part number

Hey all, can anyone help me find a part number for this plastic accordion tube? It broke during an oil filter housing gasket replacement. The QR code is useless, it doesn't link anywhere helpful. This is the connector that runs off of what I think is the second MAF sensor on the lower side of the intake tract? I'm not sure if this is right or not, I never see anybody mention there being more than one sensor on the intake.

This is the closest I can find on RealOEM, the red circle is where the sensor is, which has the broken piece running off of it. RealOEM just shows the sensor location as empty...

Second MAF sensor, that's a first. That is the pcv connector to the intake. You can tape it up or replace the whole tubing with heater hose.

I have done this work a few times and that piece does not look familiar at all. Only one MAF with N55.

My first guess is that you do have the blow-by heater. I just copied the wrong PN

If you want to know for sure, use an online VIN decoder like https://www.mdecoder.com

It will give you a complete option list for your vehicle.

If you have something plugged into the part attached to the intake pipe, you have the piece with the heater.

Another success, thank you both of you!

My understanding is that part breaks about 9 out of 10 times that someone tries to remove it, especially if it is more than a few years old. The hose design/material sucks and it gets hard/brittle and crumbles easily after a while.

I'm getting ready to do the same housing gasket replacement this coming week, plus intake manifold gasket, plug replacement, etc., and I have been debating about buying that part, but I think I'm just going to go for it based on the experience of others plus your picture convinced me.

By the way, my car only has 43K miles (8 years old, one owner--me), and it already has signs of oil leaking around those gaskets. I love my BMW, but that's a piss poor design on BMW's part if you ask me, but N54 and N55 engines are famous for oil leaks because of that design.

Yeah I agree 100% on all points, and if I were you I'd just order the part while you're at it. Mine broke during the OFHG replacement.

You don't need to disturb it though?
Was it broken when you leant on it accidentally?
