Having Trouble Backing out of Garage - help!
My garage is fairly narrow. When backing up, the safety features of the car keep locking the brakes up. I guess it's because the rear side sensors are in the red. Is there a way to adjust this so that it doesn't happen?

Yes. It's a setting in idrive. I'm traveling but I think it is called reverse or parking braking intervention. I remember seeing it and shut it off day 1. Never thought about your situation

Yes def turn this option off especially if you drive into NYC and don't mind to park on the street here and there.
Back in the summer when I got the car, I found the perfect spot across a restaurant in the city and the car wouldn't let me park. Everyone kept looking like I was an idiot who didn't know how to drive. Quickly had to shut that option off and parallel park lmao |

Mine slams the brakes for weeds. I had a cash parking attendant look at me like I was being dramatic when parking.
Its a nice feature for sure, but its more like having grandma drive with it on for sure. |
