Passenger restraint malfunction
So my apologies if this is in a forum thread elsewhere; my search skills arent great and I did try and check.
Getting this error virtually non-stop. Had my local BMW come pick up the car and do their thing. They called the corporate/BMWNA or someone who said "its because water got in the seat; let it dry out, turn on the seat heater for several hours and that should fix it". There has been NO water in this car let alone on the seat. The folks at BMW are uncertain as to what is going on and after I picked up the car from service the error continues. Anyone else out there with this? Thanks! Dav |

Theres a bulliten on it, 2 wires under the seat need to be separated and zip tied away from each other because they are causing resistance. It's a common 5 series problem including the M. I had to have it fixed on mine already
