Wow. The grille looks proportionate in person I swear.

Please ensure you open the photos as most are taken in portrait.

I really wanted to show how amazing the headlights look up close and the 3D taillights.

The fit and finish of the interior is a massive step up from the previous generation, the centre screen is well positioned, super responsive and super hi res.

This particular car is being shipped around the world for preview, and I was so surprised after seeing it in person.

I too was someone whom did not like the larger kidney grills. But after seeing it in person, this car will sell like hot cakes. It looks mean...

*Spec guide attached

Enjoy

Why is the steering wheel on the wrong side?

Regarding the grill, I think it looks perfect on the G05. Whenever I see a F15 now, I think the grill is way to small!

Thanks ljb!
Great Pictures. First time I have ever seen non-Merino seats in real life photos...

This is exactly the combination I have ordered -- Vernasca leather 'coffee' and fineline stripe brown. So great to see that this looks just as good as the Merino. I am sure Merino will feel softer but I wanted the sport seats and the Vernasca will probably be more durable. (you can already see the first wrinkles in the shot of the front seat)

My pleasure!

Keep in mind the car had 200 people lining up too sit inside. It's well worn already.

Thanks. I'm just about to order a mineral white M50d. I have never seen a mineral white m50d before so this helped me in my decision.

Just a quick note, all the G05 seats are “Sport Seats”. Regardless of which leather you choose. The multi-contour seats are still sport seats they just add additional ways to adjust them.

I would disagree with parts of you answer. Yes, they are theoretically all "sport seats", however the multi-contour seats are anatomically different in that the sides (cheeks) don't come forward as much as on the "real" sports seats. It is a minor (but noticable) difference -- at least for me.

Interesting. From what I've seen so far in photos the seats look identical. And I believe the multi-contour seats lets you adjust the side bolsters (cheeks) where as the standard don't. From what I read the multi-countour seats in the G05 are different than the multi-contour seats you get in something like the 5 series or 7 series.

Hopefully we will all know more once the reviews come out in a couple more weeks.

The seats below are multi-contour and have massive looking side bolsters (which can be moved in and out). You can see on the photos above of the standard seats there are no controls on the side of the seat to adjust the bolsters to hold you tighter.

Not sure. But there is no "Comfort Seat" option on the G05. Just the Luxury Seating Package in the US which adds: More seat adjustments (multi-contour seats), front seat massage, and ventilation.

In Canada, standard are the 'sport seats' but then when you add the "premium enhanced package' you get the 'comfort seats'...but that's without any massage or ventilation functions. Those are both seperate options. I assume 'comfort' is probably the multicontour.

Time will tell!

explanation from another thread:

Comfort seats also known as Multi-Contour Seats are all Automatic.
Head rest, upper part of the back rest / seats adjust forward and back, side bolsters adjust automatically, and the thigh bolsters adjust automatically.

Sports seats ( standard on US Msport cars ) are similar to the comfort seats AKA multi-contour seats. Only differences are manual thigh adjustment, upper part of the back rest / seat does not adjust, and side bolsters do not adjust.

If you want ventilated or massage it would be part of another package but same seat as MC or Comfort but just with holes.

Same as here in the UK.

Isn't that the button right above the round lumbar control button? If you look at the owners Manual of that particular vehicle (see my post "VIN decoded (M50d)" it describes how to adjust the bolsters with that exact button.

I drove an X3 M40i with the comfort seats and what I disliked most about that vehicle is that in sharp turns, the small bolsters didn't provide enough support.

There is a option called Comfort seat in Australia and it costs just below $2000 on M50d model. In addition, if you choose "Merino Leather", the comfort seat is a must.

I believe sports seat comes as standard seats in Australia and it is shown in the attachment. The adjustment of the sports seat is not as many as you can see on the current F15 comfort seats.

BTW, I believe the car I am taken the photo is the same vehicle to the original poster LJB.

This is the first time I really like the grill, maybe is the satin finish on the outer rim

Not sure I can wait for the M50i. May have to pull the trigger on the 50i. I love my 15 50i and the new interior is phenomenal. Love the lines on the exterior.

The comfort seats are the same as the multi contour seats with merino and the hexagonal quilting and like 20 way adjustable.
