N55 rebuild and bigger turbo

Hey all!
So I live in Madison Wi where we recently had a bit of a flood. Long story short my car was tested at the bmw dealership and has bad compression, so I'm thinking the chance of the insurance company salvaging it are high at this point. Am probably going to buy the car back and was wondering if anyone has rebuilt an n55(upgraded rod bearings and what not) and what it might run cost wise. While the motor is out I'll probably also want to go pure stage 2 or something along those lines. Also wondering what I need to go along with pure stage 2(lpfp,hpfp?) Thanks for any info, really hoping I don't have to part ways with this car

If your car was involved in a flood, the low compression is the last thing I'd be worrying about. You could be chasing electrical gremlins forever. Let the insurance company total this one and don't look back.

They already looked over electronics everything is fine. Wasn't sitting in water at all I got it out of the water before it stalled.
