Currently owned F80 (non-comp), I am #2 for M2C.

While there are things that I like about F80, IMO, it does not put down power well.
The rear can be twitchy, I have to very mindful of the throttle and the condition of the road most of the time.
This is my number one complaint about the car, it appears M3CS fixes the problem, it is out of my price range, though.

I am hoping that M2C will have better balance and can put down power better.
Hopefully, the shorter wheelbase also provides more agile feeling to the car (although I am aware it is slightly heavier).

If you plan to switch from F80/82 to M2C, I am curious of your reasoning?

I own an F82 ZCP and planning to order M2C. However, I have no problem puttting power down. I have 295s (PS4S) in the rear and they won't spin under WOT in any gear except for the 1st when they are warmed up. It's even better on a track with 305 NT01 R-comps. My reasoning is a little different. I'm interested in the M2C because it's smaller and has so much potential to increase the power safely without maximizing the turbos. I look at it as an M3/M4 in a shorter wheelbase which translates into more fun for me.

Sold my 2015 F80 and am #2 on list at one dealer and #3 at another. I love the S55 but wanted it in a smaller package. I am not worried about sound or weight really either. My M3 had MPE and tune and sounded really good to the point I actually got compliments. It sounded so much better than a stock F80 so you can definitely improve the sound if you're worried about that. Also, had no issues putting power down. Had 18's and PS4s which helped.

I’ve had both F80 and F82. Just recently got rid of my F82. Tires make a big difference. I ran stock wheels/tires on the F80, and 305’s on F82. Zero problems putting power down with the wider tires (obviously).

When I had the F82, though it was a great looking vehicle, I couldn’t get over the physical size/dimensions of it. I think the M2 is the answer, and am in line to hopefully acquire one by next year.

If putting down power is your gripe with M4, M2C isn't going to be the fix. The best upgrade would be the tire. I bet you'd fall in love with M4 again.

Since it was a pre-ZCP M4, then maybe it will put the power down better. I realize the tires are slightly narrower, but I am sure BMW will have adjusted the throttle mapping and torque output a little. It will probably be more civil than the first group of F80/F82s.

Have an F80 M3 ZCP, and a 230i M and I love the nimbleness of the F22 a Lot, always imagined what it would be if it had the M3 engine in it so I will be getting an M2C -and Keeping the M3-

Yes, considering to trade the M3 in to the M2 competition. But still no prices available in the Netherlands. I already configured the M2 in Luxembourg, https://www.bmw.lu/de/ssl/configurat...onfig/t4k2e4r4. Only will add like 30k up to the price due our lovely taxes over here...

The reason I'm considering it's because I would like to have 2 doors again instead of 4, and I love the wide body of the M2..

Yes, I'm strongly considering the M2CP, although not for a year or so, or when all the hoopla dies down. My E39 M5 and F80 M3 are essentially the same size, and I don't need 2 cars that big. I'm looking for my DD to be smaller and a bit more nimble.
