Pricing for M2 Comp

As we all know the M2 Comp is coming. Have read a lot of posts about potential pricing overseas, but has anyone heard of any pricing info here in Aus and what the car would come with as standard options?

Spoke with my dealer yesterday and he informed me between $130 to $135 retail.

Thats with the all the goodies including the M4 seats..

This will be the only variant of the M2 available along with the Pure.

That's a decent increase... But with all options. So around 120k maybe? Unless not much choices in options since Australia usually receives a lot of things as standard.

Hmm interesting. A lightly used M3 Competition would now go for about 125-130k. I'd imaging the base M2C will eventually reach a sweet spot in pricing at around 115k after the initial hype wears off. I could be wrong.

the only really expensive option i see is the brakes, so if we take 5-10k for the brakes from 130k, it makes the base with most options a reasonable 120-125k?

considering mine was 115k driveaway before discounts, a 5-10k increase sounds about right too

I mean is the comp worth two regular M2s? I can find very nice Ferraris at or below that price point. I guess I’m missing what all the hubbub is.

Sound about right. I thought it could be around 120k. Interested to see how much the options are, especially those brakes.

How much discount were you able to get off yours? Hoping they give some for the M2C

I was also told about 130k from my dealership so there must be some pricing info that dealers have prior to any official figures being released.

i got mine when for 105k, probably could've gotten a bit more, but didn't bother haggling to the last dollar as there was only one new one in the country to the specs i wanted

if history repeats, id expect to pay retail for at least the first year?

Not sure mate, this price was given to me prior to any official info on the car being released.
However i would hope so otherwise adding options to this price would make for one very expensive M2.

Bmw are currently offering the M3 pure for $119K drive away without any discount.
It’d be a little odd to see a ‘2 series’ priced higher albeit the Comp version.

Why are people say 130-135? It will be same price as current M2. When new around $115k driveaway.

However the option list looks extensive! The options can go as high as $30-40k guess depends what will come standard.

But price won't be m3 territory (130k driveaway) that's ridiculous

I guess time will tell. But it is known that there is a 5% increase at least, whether that's the same for Aus it's unknown because of the standard equipment

But that $115k is with all the current options fitted, I'd be surprised the Comp with only those options would be the same 115k. Add the new options plus all the new & extensive list of M Performance bits I reckon it won't be hard to get to M3 pricing, the buyer will be someone who wants the best driver's car & doesn't need 4 doors or a bit of luxury.

Let's not forget carbon roof etc are m performance extras just like the exhaust...

So when I refer to $115k it'll be the M2 standard car with all the standard options from factory (which Australia always get it fully loaded).

I don't even understand how the carbon fibre roof option will work... it can't be an aftermarket part... can it?

The cf roof will be fitted at the factory or more likely at the port.
