Thoughts on M Performance parts
I found these M Performance parts on Kijiji. Sellers are in GTA area. Price is good compared to dealership. 250 for carbon fibre spoiler!! 280 for front splitter.
Anyone have any experience with these sellers? What to look for when buying? How can i check quality? https://www.kijiji.ca/v-auto-body-pa...rce=ios_social https://www.kijiji.ca/v-other-auto-p...rce=ios_social |

Those are replicas thats why the price difference. Since its pickup in their store you should test fit them on your car before buying since replicas don't always fit. My experience though has been very good with replica lips and spoilers so just have to make sure it fits nicely on your car.
Personally I am 99% positive the real thing or the replica won't make a difference in terms of performance lol |

Kijiji is hit and miss. You can get total crap on there...what you need to look at is fitment (how flat the spoiler sits and how the ends align to trunk) and the quality of the weave. Often what you get will budget spoilers are open pores and faulty weaves.
Depends on the venders. Extreme Parts are awesome, I go to Gino all the time.

I can vouch for Racing Bee and Extreme Parts, both of which orders parts from Taiwan. They both carry Goodgo products which fit very nicely unless you plan to get the M Sport bumpers(front is a real pain I've heard, requires a lot of modification to make it fit on evenly but the rear fits much better). I received great service with both and they allow test fitting. I'm not sure about Extreme Parts as I didn't ask to try(bought a diffuser from them) but the gentlemen @ Racing Bee came out with me, got down on his hands and knees to test fit the part with me.

I got my lip, diffuser and spoiler from extreme parts. Pretty good fit that im happy with. Did not allow me to test fit as he wanted to keep them packaged but he assured me fitment is like OEM. Pm me if you have questions or want some pics.
good luck! |

I'd love to see what the spoiler from Extreme Parts looks like, if you have any pics of that.

Ive attached a few pics. my spoiler is lifting on the edges (screws holding on not double sided tape) but i believe thats due to installing during the winter. I am gonna reapply with beta link this summer. Extreme parts one was primed and i got painted locally. fitment perfect as seen in the photo of it only primed.

IMO no edges should be visible in perfect fitment. |

If you want replica M Performance parts, only go with GoodGo parts which are made in Taiwan with polypropylene. Each part will have a GoodGo stamp embossed in the plastic on the backside somewhere. Last time I went a year ago, the shop at Markham & McNicol sells GoodGo parts.
I can't comment on the carbon fiber replica parts though.

Edit: Installed it in winter with a heat gun and 3M but bought it used on Kijiji for $120, should have checked what brand before installing, now there's no way to tell unless I remove it... The fitment was very good so I didn't bother checking. |

That sucks! You're in Barrie too, that's a long drive! Did you test fit before you left?
