Ontario screwed once again

With Patric Brown resigning due to sexual allegations and now Doug Ford planing to run I'm afraid we just elected the current premier to another 4 year term. Her policies are so far to the left that even a liberal like myself feels I might just vote PC for the first time in my life.

Yup, horseface has screwed ontario up so badly its not even funny. Manufacturing jobs gone. Electricity prices sky high, gas plant scandal, Orange scandal, ehealth records scandal, green energy boondogle, carbon pricing but the unions at the trough will keep voting them in. Never mind the highest sub sovereign debt in the world.

Her and his hairness have demonized small business like doctors, lawyers, timmies for not paying their fair share which is BS, while their advisors stash millions off shore (https://www.thestar.com/news/paradis...ust-taxes.html). Health care wait times have not improved, while taxes keep going up and up. She's trying to teach her own morality to the kids in school under the guise of sex ed. Its okay kids, you can be 6 genders at once...

I would have been long gone from this province if it wasn't for my wife who won't move because of family. Instead I stay and grumble at the ridiculous taxation rate (calculate your own average tax rate when you have time), in relation to the services you get. It sure doesn't help when 50% of Canadians make less than 26k per year

Margaret thatcher said it best, the problem with socialism is eventually you run out of other people's money. Someone should shoot the horse and put it out of its misery, or take it to the glue factory

I totally agree, her anti business stance is completely ludicrous. The unions as you said are the biggest culprits in my opinion and it's unfortunate that they have such a limited view of the circumstances we are in right now. I do have my own personal issues with both parties but never thought a liberal government could devestate a province like the current government. I employ a number of people in my businesses and even those who got a couple dollar raise due to the recent wage increase can't believe how fast it came about and are worried about the inflation that's going to come after.

God help us with the hydro debt and the new NAFTA negotiations.

Have a great day

Ontario generally votes the same premier for a second term so unless enough ppl vote for 1 other party, we'll have another liberal government

The current liberal party is not the part I voted for all my life. It's moved too far to the left where it's almost confused with the NDP. Unless they move more to centre, they've lost my vote. Don't even start me on the current premier

As long as monkey's name is not Ford. I think I'll abstain from voting for the first time.
