Car Wash Recommendations

Hey guys, what's a good car wash to use in the GTA? I don't see a point in detailing in this weather since if it snows again it'll be a waste. But I want to periodically wash off all the salt. I've never used a car wash since I got the car, do I need any special considerations other than to put the car in neutral?

Not sure if you have any touchless around you, but i would go with that route. Last thing you want is to go through one of those pull through car washes that some guy with salt/sand/debris went through before you. But that's just me since I typically wash and detail my cars myself when the weather gets warm.

The touchless washes in my area have an underspray as you drive in too which is great from getting some salt off of the underbody

Yeah I was thinking of touchless only. Any major gas station ok? Or should I try some sort of specialty one?

Touchlessmis definitely the way to go! As to brand, it is hard to say as the actual car wash equipment varies quite a bit even within the same brand. I have had good luck at the new shell car washes. Which offer both touch less and softtouch, but I only use the touchless option.

I went to a local touchless near me. Some leftover dirt. Not the best job.. I'll try Petro or Esso next time.

Touchless is more akin to hosing off some of the crud from our winter roads but don't expect to see as good a wash as a soft cloth wash.
