best snow/ice brush

This is gonna be the most an*l question I've ever asked and I'm a bit embarrassed but what the heck...it's the interwebs.

First snow fall in Toronto with my new car - carbon black. Having had black (or in this case, not black) cars in the past, I HATE the tons of scratches left behind from snow/ice brushes in the winter.

So...

Anyone have a recommendation for a great snow/ice brush?

I tend to use a flagged tip brush, similar to this - https://www.rona.ca/images/04125507_L.jpg

I just skim a layer off the top leaving a thin layer of snow and never once does the brush make contact with the car.

Picked this one up today on your recommendation. I'll be in touch if it scratches my paint

If your brush comes in contact with the paint, than it will most definitely induce some scratches, even if you push the snow and it clumps up in a bunch and slides off your car. There are very fine dust particles under the snow and if you brush it off, it will abrade the clearcoat.

This one is even better: http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/ga...4462p.html#srp

Same concept, but got rotating head and telescopic handle.

I got this and wrapped with microfiber towel

Snow Joe SNOBRUM-AUTO Brum Original Snow Removal Tool with Telescoping Handle https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0007LDXLA/..._3MBisqzgaFNzl

For scraping the ice off from windshield, I'd recommend

Got the microfiber towel idea from ammo

Ok. I'm getting the one from CDN tire. And like the other guy...I'll be in touch if it scratches my paint.
