best snow/ice brush
This is gonna be the most an*l question I've ever asked and I'm a bit embarrassed but what the heck...it's the interwebs.
First snow fall in Toronto with my new car - carbon black. Having had black (or in this case, not black) cars in the past, I HATE the tons of scratches left behind from snow/ice brushes in the winter. So... Anyone have a recommendation for a great snow/ice brush? |

I tend to use a flagged tip brush, similar to this - https://www.rona.ca/images/04125507_L.jpg
I just skim a layer off the top leaving a thin layer of snow and never once does the brush make contact with the car. |

If your brush comes in contact with the paint, than it will most definitely induce some scratches, even if you push the snow and it clumps up in a bunch and slides off your car. There are very fine dust particles under the snow and if you brush it off, it will abrade the clearcoat.
