Waiting for a Boat

Car was built 1st week of October, and is still sitting in Germany... ugh

I really, really didn't want to see this message. Mine is scheduled to be built next week and I assumed I will get it sometime in December but your waiting for a month for the car to be loaded on a ship is terrifying to me.

That sucks. Wonder what's special about yours? Anything "individual" ordered? Mine was also built 1st week October and it's now in Halifax. Have to endure another few weeks of waiting while it makes its way across Canada by rail...

By the way, I now believe that the production date that shows up on the bimmer.work site is the beginning of production not finished date as some suggest. My production date was 2 October and then a few days later the status changed to paint shop (according to my SA), so production complete was definitely after 2 October.

Nothing individual on the car, the build was started and completed on time. Just waiting for a vessel. Never had to wait this long on previous orders, as once the car was built, it was usually on a boat in less than one week. Oh well, nothing I can really do; makes a great Christmas gift at this point! (looking at another four weeks at least)
