Matte black fender markers
here are some rough pics of my e92 with M3 front bumper/fenders/skirts using matte black vinyl to cover the chrome housing of the turn signals and gloss vinyl to cover the ///M badge since my car is not an M3.
We will be releasing carbon fibre versions of these, wrapped over the OEM housing to ensure perfect fit and finish in about 2-3 months Last edited by brandon @ eas; 05-20-2008 at 10:55 AM.. |

Hmm ... I think stock looks better. Maybe CF, but I doubt it. The M3 looks so gorgeous bone stock these cosmetic mods really aren't stacking up.

CF is going to look great, cant wait to see it. How is it installed? Does it just go over the chrome?

Subscribed. I would buy the CF ones to round out my trim look.

the carbon ones will be outstanding on modded M3's. The problem with the chrome ones, is on the modded m3's that dont have any chrome anywhere: usually the kidney grills are replaced with matte black, the window trim is black etc etc, so the only chrome on the car is the side markers. On my car, the chrome really stood out and looked out of place since everything on my car is silver, matte black or gunmetal

lolol are you serious? and no, my car is titanium silver, no plans on painting it otherwise. My goal wasnt to do a full M3 conversion, I just wanted the front end. But the way BMW did the e92 m3, is that NOTHING works unless you have the rest of the parts. the bumper wouldnt fit (even with modification) wihtout the fenders, the fenders dont work without the Hood (stock hood is shorter) the fenders dont work without the skirts etc etc. so lets see: 328i: $39,000 wheels/tires: $1400 m3 body parts: $2500 springs: $200 Total: about $44 grand. so no, no way in hell does that compare to the cost of a $70,000 M3. the stupid thing to do, would be if I got a $50,000 335, then did these mods, since that would basically be the cost of a M3. Trust me, I wish I could get one, but for now this is what I've got |

ur comparing a base 328 to fully loaded M3. otherwise 44 vs. 55k not 70k u get both wheels and tires for 1400??? where do u get that? i want a set now!! ur also forgetting installation costs, which are significant. if u put all that mod money into a down for a M3 ur payment will be the same as ur 328 or close AND u'll be driving a M3 but hey, must be fun to play with a car like that |

*installation costs: $0. I installed my wheels and springs my self, and bumper, skirts, fenders I did with Longtran my car was $39,000 out the door including tax. I highly doubt I could take an M3 off the lot $55 with tax. Also a huge part of my life is my 130 miles per day commute. I would need a second job just to afford the gas with a commute like that if I had an M3 |
