I have a 2017 f30 with the Idrive unit that is supposed to download the maps over the air... I still have 2016 version maps and I see others have 2017.

Is there something wrong or is there no 2017 maps for my car?

Where does it say that on the idrive?

I have a feeling mine are older but am
unsure how to tell?

When you are on the map view, hit the options button and find the one that says software version and click on that. Then it tells you what map you are running

Nobody has updated maps past 2016-3 for the NBT?

My car (about two weeks old) came with 2017-1 and from other posts here, I believe 2017-4 is the latest.

Have you ever gotten updates on your car? Did you set the region in the connected drive portal?

I think mine is still on 2016-1 since I always have the latest version from Google Maps running. (or Waze) I use Android versus iDrive.

I'm still rocking Map update 2016-2. It's been a long time since I've got an OTA update. Car is a 2016 340. SMDH
