I just purchased a new 430i xDrive Convertible with iDrive 6 and Apple CarPlay. I have two phones paired, but I can only use one at a time. In my older 328, I was able to program one as an Additional Phone. I called Genius and they don't know how to program. I would like to receive calls safely while driving. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Coding ... make sure it is set to 2 phones ... assume you didn’t buy the upgraded Bluetooth package

Thanks for your response. Do you think that will be an option using the Carly application? I just need to order their generation II adapter.

For the 2018's it's iDrive version 6 and there's no additional Bluetooth option. Have you worked with that version yet?

Don't know if it's the same pack as in europe but you need to code Extended Bluetooth (EBT). That will give you the 2nd phone option over standard bluetooth.
