Keeping the Radio On
I'm interested in visiting a drive-in theater in which keeping the engine running is usually a last resort. I notice that the radio/electronics on F30s, perhaps other models as well, while on accessory power automatically shut off after 8 minutes to preserve the car's battery. Is there any workaround for this, so that the radio can remain on for an extended period?
Thanks! |

Instead of turning off the engine but not hitting the switch a second time to leave the radio on, hit the switch twice to turn everything off, then hit the switch once more with your foot off the brake. I can't say if this works, but it's worth a shot.
