Switching between cameras?

So my new f31 has he normal backup camera, and the surround view. It feels clunky switching between them by going into the iDrive menu and toggling the surround view cameras on and off during parking (as opposed to rear/front fender cameras). Is there a quicker way of doing this that I don't know about?

On my F34, I just press down on the iDrive button and the view switches between surround and rear view.

That's weird, because I swear that's what the CA did in his demo. But I've been trying that and it isn't switching.

Your demo was probably in a '17 model. Things have changed for '18 models.

Now, the default cam is the backup cam. You need to click left, scroll down 1 position and switch off the backup cam. This will bring up the surround/top view

Yeah, my demo was the exact car I bought which was a '17. So in he '17's it should just be an iDrive button push?

this has been annoying me too. i think i'm going to set it to one of the idrive button presets so i can just push a number (if that's possible).

Don't think you can do that but let me know if you get something figured out.
