OEM camera with rear only PDC and center switch

I ordered my F32 without the rear camera, which was a mistake on my part. I want to install the OEM camera, and I understand that it will work with only the rear PDC added. I would really like the center console switch to turn off the beeping, but I have read conflicting things. I have seen statements that the button is plug and play and does not require coding or a cable change. Elsewhere, I have read that a cable to the IMC needs changing and also some coding. Can anybody explain or provide any help? Thanks

Pressing the button the center console switch will turn off the backup camera/pdc tone. The added wire to the ICM is for the surround view status LED on the button. No coding should be needed. This is going by memory.

Thanks. There is also an LED on the PDC button.
