What color combo would you pick on your F90?

I'm leaning towards Black Sapphire Metallic or Frozen Black individual with Fiona red (if they will allow that) or Silveratone interior.

What color combo would you pick?

I like Tartufo but I'm iffy on the color on the M5 seats. I think this color and browns in general look good on more luxury style seats.

Agreed; will need to see in person prior to ordering.

Wifey and I seem to like Marina Bay Blue, with Merino Silverstone/Fineline Ridge inside. Singapore Grey would be tied or a very close second choice for outside. I really wanted to get a frozen colour, but the amount of bugs I'd have to wash off is making me not want that. I'll try to get most technology options, and am trying not to talk myself out of carmin ceramic brakes. Unfortunately the main reason to get them is to have something to talk about with car people. The potential for brake noise will really irritate wifey. Does anyone fell like giving me the pros and cons Coles notes for carbon ceramics?

Since the car is AWD now, the advantage of ceramics in terms of acceleration will be greater than when it was RWD. Maybe you can sell that

I was going to attempt the sell with reduced brake dust, more time between brake changes (assuming no track work), and cooler, yellow calipers.

Is azurite black an individual colour on the M5? It wasn't listed in the individual colour list on the colour thread, but somehow I doubt it's a standard colour.

None, they're all butt ugly.

But in the negative sense, the Ruby Red comes close to the absolute ZERO score and ranks last obviously.

Why, oh why did they have to fuck up the design of their absolute summit symbol? They virtually had no budget constraints and they took time, a lot of it, to get it exactly right. And still, they have got it wrong in so many aspects! The balance when you look to the side profile, the overhangs, the 3/4ters view from behind or upfront, the ugly standard headlights (the sales rep even had the nerve to tell me the standards are fugly!!! and you need to invest in upgrade ones to make it look like something!)...

But irrespective, the M5 will be the new benchmark again in driving dynamics!! I just wished they would have made it pretty. Take a dark color, then the wrong design is less obvious.

Help with color interior trim

Hello Guys,

After digging through the forums and endless analysis of pictures, I am ready to pull the trigger on a new F90. I have a quote from my dealer for February production, but I need some help with a couple of issues. Here's a general idea of my build so far:
  • Rhodonite Silver Metallic
  • Full Merino Leather Tartufo
  • Aluminuim Carbon Structure Dark with Dark Chrome
  • 20" 706M Bicolor wheels

My questions surround the Rhodonite Silver and interior trim. I saw the video of the Rhodonite Silver M550d (posted on this forum in multiple places) and also the pictures on this thread, however I find the naming a bit worrying. Actual Rhodonite seems to be some sort of pink gem, and I was wondering if this color gives off any kind of pink/red hue. Any help from anyone who's seen it in real life would be great.

Second, regarding the trim. First of all, is this trim, and the other "light" version of it, actual carbon fibre or is it just etched aluminum? Secondly, from the pictures, it seems like the "dark with dark chrome" is a bit cheap looking. The press photos released by BMW seem OK, but the real life pictures make it look quite bland and plastic looking. Have a look at the first photo below which was taken at Frankfurt today.

So, I appreciate any thoughts regarding the trim and exterior color. Thank you guys!
