Is new BMW F90 M5 to be revealed online this month ?

Is new BMW F90 M5 to be unveiled this month ?

Quote:
The new BMW F90 M5 is upon us. After teasing us with some prototype drives and some heavy camo, BMW M is now ready to show us their most advanced M to date. According to our sources, the F90 M5 is about two weeks away from its official web debut, just days before the world premiere at the Frankfurt Auto Show. We’re also fairly confident that the final figure of the new M5 will be 600 PS ( 441 kw). As announced, the new M5 drops the 7-Speed Double Clutch Transmission in favor of an eight-speed M Automatic. Furthermore, the six-speed manual – as we know it from the F10 M5 – is now gone.

Since the car will be revealed in Frankfurt in September it would make sense to have the first pics & specs released in August.

I read that the official numbers are 600hp with a 0-60 at 3.8. I hope this is not true, if it is, then it is nothing more then a 30 anniversary with a F90 dress on.

Indeed that would be sad if it were true. A stock Audi RS7 Performance can muster a 0-60 of only 3.3 seconds with it's 4,600lbs curb weight today.

I just found another source saying 3.5 0-60 so I don't know what to believe. this article mentions August 21 as the "week" it will be revealed.....

This can not be true, a 2017 M550 does 0-60 at 4.0

Not true. Here is the CEO of M, Frank van Meel, stating that the car will do 0-100kph (0-62) in less than 3.5 seconds (starting at 3m10s into the video):

Really? Now we're mad because the 0-60 is only 3 point something seconds? Gawd, look into used funny cars or a Challenger if the most important criteria is winning green light street races. :
