hi guys
want to add a relatively pnp solution to add more bass and clarity of oem speakers without ripping out too much trim to my f36 430d i am thinking: Bimmertech amp rca lead to mono amp mono amp to power custom 12inch sub Last edited by devil84; 07-19-2017 at 06:41 PM.. |

So it depends on your budget and system goals. For me... the speakers are not bad as they stand on my HK... so a sub is being added with the Technic PnP harness. One 10-12" subwoofer in the back will do you. So all you need is a mono amp. Other options include the Bav Sound kit... that is plug and play... works off your factory amp but the subs do sound better with a bit more juice. You'd be surprised how a sub can make a world of difference. It leaves the other speakers to get on with what they were designed for and not to try and produce low bass they struggle to produce - as that is taken care of by the sub. There will be mid bass and sub bass everywhere if you add a sub. |

thank you. problem is i have the hifi setup. would adding an sub still be good
i am adding bimmertech amp and mono amp to power trunk sub. then debating whether to change the front speakers and underseat sub with gladen 201 too |
