Hi guys new to forum and BMW, I got a F30 2012 and got the basic idrive there is I think. I want bluetooth music streaming, video on the go and phone mirroring with all the basic of the iDrive. Which one I need to upgrade to and any help on price/where I can get it done?

Several options.

Cost all told is probably around $4000 USD 3500€ 3000£ after installation

And you lose all Connecred Drive capabilities.

Is it worth that much to you?

If so, vorph would probably be your best resource in U.K.

Also try Neil and vehicle Installation solutions (handzfree.co.uk). He is based in Birmingham but very knowledgeable and will be able to detail your options.

I installed NBT EVO from a F30 with basic iDrive. Total cost is roughly $3,000 USD.

It is possible to retrofit nbt and people will do a full install and programming for £1000 in the UK.

I installed an NBT into two cars and there is copious amounts of guidance available.

Note that the version of idrive available will be in part limited by production year.

However phone mirroring isn't possible with the version of idrive I have installed but you get connecteddrive on some phones (iPhones appear to work best overall)

Our 2016 LCI upgrade kit costs much less than the stated price above but if you're coming from a Pre-LCI F30, you will need additional hardware as well as a new screen and this will drive up the cost.

We're coming up with a PnP kit soon for Pre-LCI vehicles so stay tuned. This will at least save you a few hundred bucks on paying someone to install it for you.

I have 2016 LCI european model with HU_EntryNav ... What does that mean for me?

Unless I misread something, that can all be coded into your car w/o replacing any hardware. I had bt, phone mirroring and DVD playback while in motion all coded yesterday in my 2012 F30 (amongst other things). Cost me $100 cuz I'm not an IT guy, lol.

He had HU Entry you need HU NBT to do those things..

If you buy a vgate dongle and bimmercode app you can code without the learning curve
