Good Morning,

Dumb question I'm sure, however. I had a 2017 430xi as a rental last week and I noticed that when I lock the car it beeps to confirm lock/unlock, is there a way for my 2014 328xi to do that?

Also noticed that the front parking sensors beep when you get close to an object, currently mine doesn't do that, it just shows on the nav. Weirdly enough when I reverse it beeps for the rear parking sensors.

Both can be adjusted in the settings menu. The lock/unlock beep is off/on, the sensors can be adjusted for the rapidity of the tone based on distance from objects. I have mine set to go to a constant tone at one foot away.

The parking sensor thing can be adjusted in Idrive. The beep on locking/unlocking requires the factory alarm option.

The Parking Distance Control tone can be adjusted in iDrive under Settings/Tone/PDC.

The door lock/unlock beeps can be adjusted in iDrive under Settings/Doots/key.
