Stupid question, I don't see anywhere in the Nav screen where it shows which side of the road your destination is on. First world problem but when you're on a 3 lane road of traffic it'd be nice to see which lane I should be in. My wife's Sonata has this feature...

It is verbally said if you have option active.
My system consistently lets me know at least a block before arriving.

That's good to know. I have the voice off so I can listen to my music. So the voice says "destination on right in xxx miles" but no arrows or anything on the screen

the voice only comes on when it prompts you to do something - why wouldn't you just leave it on?

Cause when I'm rocking out to some Golden Earring I don't need some chick bringing me down telling me what to do. A little arrow on my screen would suffice.

I think if you enable split screen with Nav and next turn or whatever they call it the arrow pops up. I have only used it on highway but it has a very detailed diagram of what to do.

Well, cannot help you there then. Sometimes destination is shown on certain road side but not always. If you do not know location, I suggest turning on voice (at least when close).

How many times can you listen to Radar Love without going nuts?

J/K, I know they did other stuff. Some of their later albums from the late seventies were pretty good, but that remains one of the greatest night driving songs of all time, along with the Stones' Midnight Rambler and Sympathy for the Devil (or the Bryan Ferry cover).

Actually now that I think about it, I was thinking of my 235. GF 3-series (dad's too) has the arrows and stuff on the dash. Do you have that? Does that do the same thing the split screen on mine would? By dash I mean instrument cluster between the speedo and tach.

I have HUD but that doesn't show street sides. I'll check the owners manual but I've never see it in the dash/hud/ or nav screen

I just got my 2018 LCI car. Will have to see if there are arrows indicating the side of the road.

The screen is a substantial upgrade from the prior one. It has pop-up boxes that show each turn on the map, so it may show the side of the street.

It shows which lane to take on split screen and direction arrows but I don't think it shows which side the destination is on. I find the voice directions are sometimes distracting as it tells you to turn earlier than you're supposed to. The arrows on split screen tend to be earlier so you have to
Pay attention to the distance indicated and the street name. It's useful if you have music on the other side rather than map and use Navi with voice off.

The pop-up on the iDrive displays an arrow to indicate the side of the street the destination is on. It's the same as a left or right turn.
