Apps via bluetooth with connected drive

Hi!

Does anyone know if it's possible to get apps via bluetooth working on NBT2 evo (id4) via coding?
Or is it a hardware issue?

The reason why i would like to have it working is to get Spotify via connected drive for Android (due to it still does not work via USB

).

I don't know if this would work, but it's worth a shot to at least try it.

I would like to know the same, if there is some kond of coding possible??

I use iphone 7 plus and when I use Spotify over BT is shows art cover and plays songs, but sometimes freezen on one art cover. And over BT I can not select playlists. While connected over USB I can scrool over playlists and so on.

Does your car consistently connect to Spotify via Bluetooth? Mine does sometime and then not others. I thought I had it cracked as I would open the BMW connected drive app first and then Spotify and it would then appear on the idrive screen

It does if I leave Spotify as last player opened on my iphone. Otherwise not. But I guess it uses BT streaming like if you would use Apple Music not over BMW Apps so search functions does not work.
