Will Iphone SE work ok with Blue Tooth?
Time to give up on 9 year old dumb phone which, surprisingly, worked just find with blue tooth in my 2014 328.
I'm thinking of getting an IPhone SE. I believe there were some problems with BT connectivity and voice quality, and wonder if those problems are ongoing. Mainly I care about receiving and initiating calls, and not the other stuff. IPhone SE users - can I expect IPhone SE to work ok? Thanks |

Yup, you should not have any problems with the SE. My iPhone 6 (almost 3 years old now) runs without issue, and the SE is actually newer than the 6.

The problems you mentioned were fixed two months later after SE was released with iOS 9.3.something update.
I have SE, and car is equipped with basic multimedia system and basic bluetooth+usb package. Works fine both for the calls and mutimedia playback. I like the fact that car multimedia can access the music library of iphone, so it is possible to select playlists, artists, songs etc directly from the iDrive. My previous android-based Sony did not offer this feature, so music should be selected on the phone itself. The only issue I experienced is that sometimes there is a cracking sound when music and directions of navigation software that runs on the phone are played at the same time. I'm not sure, though, if that issue is caused by bluetooth problems or the mentioned navigation software. |

Thanks very much everyone.
Now I have the courage for the big step from a casio flip phone to the SE! lacrimarum - good to know that those specific probs are resolved. I use the built-in Nav so shouldn't have the interference that you mentioned. |

I have an SE because I prefer a smaller phone. It works fine with BT. I however still use a iPhone 5 cradle because it sounds better that way.
