Hello, i have a problem with my BMW. When i press brake with gear "Drive" or ride on the first gear without pressed accelerator then something squeals/chirps. Is this the timing chain or something else?

Car: BMW 318d steptronic F31 2012, 133k km or 82k miles.

Hi Rostko,

In my opinion in the first video this seems pretty normal and an effect called "Stick-slip phenomenon". I see it happens right when the brake pads release the brake rotor. I get a similar noise, thought much duller when i just nudge the car in D. My brake pads and rotors are almost new, but you should get them checked out.
As for the second video, it's really hard to tell, there is some timing chain noise present but it has nothing to do with first video you showed
