Sport/Sport +/SAT
Hey all, I was wondering what the differences between Sport/Sport +/SAT was? I ask because I'm not sure and I'm looking to do coding when my cable arrives, but I'd like to know what it's all about. I have an automatic xDrive.

Here's the differences:
DVC put this together (originally posted at http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...postcount=68): I've tested the different combinations and found the transmission and chassis info correct.

What it's supposed to do is "shift faster" than the Non Sport Auto, however there has been tons of argument whether it actually shifts faster, or just altered logic/mappings. The biggest difference I felt, is that with SAT, the shifts felt "snappier" and less hesitant. It feels like the non SAT is programmed for more "economy" whereas the SAT is more "sporty". I highly recommend getting this coded or optioned from factory |
