Help - F30 dual exhaust rear section

Hi, can the rear section/back box from a 435i fit and be compatible with a 335d? I know that the 435i and 335i part numbers are the same so in theory it should fit.?has anyone done this and will it work being from a petrol car and going on a diesel. I have the opportunity of a cheap back box and would quite like to have the dual exhaust look like on my previous 335d. I could have a custom exhaust/backbox delete made for around £300 but if the 435i part fits and works will go for that as the car will likely get returned to standard at some point. Thanks in advance.
Ps anyone need 1 BiXenon headlight from an F30. In decent nick few minor marks. Headlight only no modules or anything. PM me

I think we've discussed this in another forum section, but the 335i and 435i have a single rear muffler with 1 inlet in the middle and an outlet on the right and left sides. The E9x 335d has the same dual-muffler two-inlet/two-outlet design as the gasoline 335i with the N54 engine. Your 335d has two turbochargers with two exhaust pipes and the 335i/435i has one twin-scroll turbocharger with a single pipe. Unless you have a "Y" pipe made to combine the two pipes into one, it will not fit.

As mentioned, the exhausts are far different; no-go.

But, the 335d has sequential turbos (not dual as the N54 does) that feed into a single pipe: 1) the DPF/DOC and then 2) SCR/Center resonator (although I suspect that the OP being in UK means no SCR and no DEF tank).

On a USA/CA car, the DEF tank is in the way, and nothing but the OEM will fit; not sure in the UK.
