I will be pulling the trigger this weekend on a Dinan Sport tune for my '14 320i XDrive and was wondering what you guys thought might be prudent in terms of hardware. I've been reading that an intake and intercooler should follow a tune, but wanted to hear from you guys. A lot of knowledgeable peeps on this forum and your help/recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Intake isn't going to do much good in terms of making power. And if all you have is a tune, then a new FMIC isn't likely going to benefit you much. Next best bag for your buck will be a down pipe. JMO.

Thanks for that. What I'm basically trying to do is "reinforce" the car after the tune is installed. The Sport tune is pretty conservative based on what I've read, but I want to make sure the other components aren't jeopardized in any way, if that makes any sense?

Suspension, tires, then brakes. THEN maybe exhaust, intake, and intercooler.

So with the added boost and additional HP, the stock turbo and other bits can handle it?

They can handle it more than a car with poor traction, soft suspension or poor braking.
