Your whole car is gonna look weird if you slap on that M3 kit. Anyone would know it's not an M3. I guess you'll be sticking an M3 badge on it as well? One thing I learnt within the Bimmerpost community, is that posing to be something you're not will lead you to being outcast and shunned. |

Seriously? If so...
Recommend that you NOT do this, really will be a waste of $$. Suggest you pile on a bunch of M performance stuff instead. Front splitter, spoiler, side skirts, etc. You'll still be different from the average 335i, but won't be ridiculed everywhere you go. |

If you want to do it correctly, then you'll need to source the OEM F80 mirrors (which aren't cheap). The rear fenders will need to be pulled by a body shop.

That said, a few M elements may be ok and the M3 wheels are hot.. but there are alot of F30 aftermarket parts which can transform the F30 into something imo looks better than any stock M3 ever could. Consider carefully before doling out the big $$$ |

I know a guy who did this with his e93 335i. Stupidest way to spend your money. Trade in your car and get the M3, believe it or not, it will be a more affordable route and a better outcome.
Think about the cash outlay for all the parts and labor. Are you going to finance that with a CC at 16%? Think about how your mods are going to destroy the value of the car. That's another real cost. Think about what the ACTUAL cost of owning a real M3 would be - don't just look at the sticker price. The actual cost is operating expense, depreciation, and interest on a loan or lease. THEN compare. |

Save yourself a whole lot of money, buy the 335 and put on M3 badges. You will impress the same people and be ridiculed by the same people but you'll have a lot more money in your pocket.

I remember when I was a boy, my mum worked in a nursing home. One year we went for a Christmas party and this woman who was a resident was stroking her cat(don't be disgusting she was about 90), she turned and looked at me and said isn't he a lovely doggy!!!! She was clearly batshit crazy....
My point being that cat was never going to be a dog EVEN if she had stuck a badge on it saying so... Buy an M3.

For what it's worth, doing F80 front bumper, front fenders, and rear bumper isn't that expensive. Those can all be obtained for about $1k. Paint and install shouldn't be that bad.
I have an M3 front. It fits like OEM. $330 shipped to my door. Making the rear fenders wider is going to be the biggest headache. And real M3 mirrors aren't easy or cheap, but the M3 inspired caps are cheap and easy. |

I've seen many F30s converted to an F80 M3 bodystyle. It's a bit pricey, but go for it. But have you seen the M Sport 335i? Ask your dealer, because they are more rare than the regular 335i. If you can find the M Sport, it's basically the same thing as the M3 look, but adjusted to fit the F30 width. Just replace the 335i badge with an ///M badge. You should also look into a Carbon Fiber looking vinyl wrap for the roof to complete the look. Most M3s have carbon fiber roofs. The final touch would be to get an ///M badge for the front driver kidney grill. All M3s and M4s have an M badge on the driver side grill. That way people looking in their rear view mirror can see you are coming and give you props.

Guys we are missing a great opportunity for someone to waste a boatload of money doing something stupid, entertain us with stories and photos plus we get to ridicule after the work is done. We should encourage now, laugh later.

F80 and f30 are not the same chassis code. So there's a difference regarding the fitment. If you plan on puttin f80 parts on your f30, it'll need major fitment concern. With labour time and cost of the pieces + paint, you'd rather buy an f80 or a f30 msport IMO

The only time this would ever be acceptable is if you took an F31 and did a full M3 drivetrain and suspension swap *first*, then made it an F81. :P
Otherwise you'll just look like a chode who couldn't afford a real M3.
