Navigation Update
Hey all, picking up my first BMW tomorrow and wanted to do the navigation update. Only thing though, seems like the process takes 1 hour roughly, am I able to drive while doing this? If I can't drive while updating, am I supposed to just leave the running? Isn't that a huge waste of gas/battery (if I just power on without starting the engine)?

It's not an over the air update? I think it will update over the air while it is off.

Newer cars do the over the air, not sure about older ones (I think those are still USB updated). Or is it just the connected drive models that do over the air?
