Ceramic Glass coating with 3M PPF...

I've had the 3M on since day 1 and it's the best mod I have on this car. Saved me from a lot of paint work already, from stone chips as well as minor scratches.

Recently applied Ceramic Pro Glass 9H coating on it and here are some pics.

The shine was what I expected from previous applications in other cars. But this is the first time I had it on top of PPF and it actually looks quite nice. It somehow smooths out some of the minor bumps when you look really close. Been raining the past few days, and the car is still relatively clean.

For those of you in the Toronto/Markham area, feel free to PM me for the installer. The cost was $350.

How many coats of CP did they put on? And I assume no paint correction was needed?

Would like to know how many coats as well as I'm getting mine done next week and it's a significant price difference.

Just 1 with 90%. And no color correction.

Did you wrap the entire car and did 1 layer of ceramic pro on the entire car as well? $350 seems way too cheap since I had a detailer here saying Ceramic Pro sets a pricing guideline for their guys. Maybe Canada has different guidelines and rules?...

I had 2 coats done. First coat is the protection, second coat is a hydra-repellant. They first condition the paint. They also treat the interior leather. I paid $900. I agree $300 is way too low. My installer ranges from $600 for the basic up to $1500 for the gold (4 coats and 10 year warranty, however with the gold package you must take the car in annually for touch up at your expense).

The full front was wrapped with 3M. I honestly don't know if he uses the actual brand of Ceramic Pro or equivalent. But this has been my 4th car with him, and they all lasted the 3-4 years that the product promises.
