anybody know how to fix this?

I got my roof wrapped a while ago but it's been looking kind of nasty. I tried using bug & tar remover, as well as rubbing alcohol mixed with water. None of them seemed to work. Any ideas?

That looks like sun damage. If car wash shampoo or quick detailer doesn't work, it might be a lost cause. Do you park in the sun often?

There's not much you can do, the direct heat causes a lot of issues. Maybe a wax with UV protection? I've never tried it. I'd just remove it, it looks horrible, and go for a paint job if you really want that black roof. What brand wrap did you use?

Paint is the best option. A gloss black roof ran me $350 on my G35. I just had my f30 roof wrapped (well, I had the entire car wrapped) last week and it was coated with C Quartz.

Unless it's real CF, I think the black roof is overplayed anyway. I don't necessarily have a problem with it, but it's the functionality of the lower center of gravity that is appealing about the black roof. The CF is what makes it attractive. I never quite understood painting/wrapping a roof black. It just makes the car hotter and serves no purpose other than aesthetics that is supposed to imitate a look that is a product of the CF roof. It makes me wonder if it truly is aesthetically pleasing for it's own sake or because of it's association with a performance upgrade. If it is the latter, then I wonder about the integrity of such a modification.
