I personally wouldn't because I like the design and shape of my f30 msport better.
But the C43 is a good car for sure. Test drive it and see how you like it

I have a 440 with mppsk and would never, same for a 340 if I had one. I have parked next to one many times and although it is a nice car I prefer my car more. I will say the interior is very nice though.

I will probably go test drive for the fun it. I do like the overall style of the my 340i f30 alot. Wanted to see the performance differences. S4 interior is nice but the exterior is damn bland.

If we are comparing the 340i vs c43 4 door than id say 340i but comparing the coupes is a lot closer. The benz coupe to me looks more expensive inside and out. I still prefer the b58 and auto gearbox on the BMW more however having driven both. I was going to jump into a m3 but after test driving my friends car it wasn't a lot better than my 340i as a complete package. Power from a roll and driving dynamics sure but the interior was just a little nicer because of materials but not really different.
I have my deposit down for the new RS5 coming next year. It's time for a little change. id say do it if you have grown a little bored with the looks of the exterior and interior of the 340i. Considering that the f30 has been out for so long i think it still looks amazing. |

Good friend of mine has had a new c43 coupe for 3 months. Driven it multiple time and its great!
Would I trade it for my f30 lci no way, maybe if it was a pre-lci. Things I like better in the c43. - interior speaker and metal work is way better - center counsel is more updated - amg sports seat upgrade are fantastic, but they are also 2200 CAN - random people feel like they are stepping into something new and special Things I like better about my 340i mppsk lci - either from a stand still or a role I pull on him all the way through the rev range no problem - idrive 5 with Apple Music is so much better than the merc system (all screens are much higher res too) - exhaust note of the amg can't compare to the mppsk - if you get extended marino leather the interiors are a matter of preference (if you don't the merc interior feel wins) - the driving dynamics are quite similar but it seems there is less body role and the back end comes around in a much more natural way in the 340i. But I do have adaptive suspension (the Amg seems to push through the corners with a heavy nose similar to my old b8 s4) And I hate the shifter on the steering column in the merc. Both cars are fantastic, I don't think you can lose with either. But my preference is the f30 lci

If I was going from sedan to sedan I would say it's not worth taking a financial hit. If I was going from sedan to coupe, then I think it's worth it.
Isn't the G series in line to come out soon? Why not just wait to see that, given that the current c-class W205 sedan body has been running for a few years already? |

No way, Jose'. Don't like the driving experience of M-B's cars, including the AMG models.

I would too, i like my 340i, but I think MBs are better built cars. The c43 comes with more standard features, my wife 2014 c300 sport package seems to be better built than my 340, even she noticed how lightweight the doors on the 340 feel compare to her C300. The C300 feels quieter inside while driving and smoother ride than my 340, IMO.

I wanted something more aggressive and it was actually kind of tough to tell the difference between the a4 and s4. It's likely that I just wanted change away from Audi for a bit. Got sick of the lackluster styling. Thought I'd try something different.

BUT! When similarly equipped, the cars aren't to different in price and features. I bet you're not going to get a loaded C43 down to a low to mid 50's selling price, though.

The driving dynamics are worlds apart. But that's comparing the b8 generation. I haven't driven the b9 of either.
