Yearly Revision??
Hi.
New to the forum and looking to buy a 340i. Got 2 cars I am currently viewing, one is a 2015 and the other a 2016. Can someone confirm if there were any revisions between the years? I know very early 340i's didn't come with LED headlights as standard, but later ones did. Dont want to miss a good change that may have come in at 2016 but may have been missed on 2015. Thanks for any advice. |

The early 340s actually should all have LED standard. You just choose passive or adaptive. Definitely get adaptive from all the complaints on here from the passive ones being too dim

Definitely had haogens early on, unless one I saw was a mis-build. Video and pictures showed halogen with the half moon DRL's, and not the signature "Halo" ring style.
Also, are there only 2 sat nav options? The smaller screen with large side covers and the larger wide screen version? |

Didn't the 2015 cars have Xenons as standard lighting? And were there 340s for the 2015 model year? I thought the 340 started in 2016 model year.

2016 LCI has the new B58 engine, air-water intercooler, water cooled turbo, increased HP and torque, and other improved technology.

Buy the MY2016 340i. See http://www.realoem.com/ with your specific build dates and check component revisions (e.g. VSS frequently revised)

As far as I can recall, the only difference between 2016 and 2017 is that in 2017, the M Sport Package comes standard. |

As for LED always standard, thats what I thought, but looked at one form a dealer which didnt have LED's, but Halogens instead. Video from Dealer. https://video.citnow.com/vplKHx1GyxB |
