New Member - 14' 335i M Sport - Estoril Blue
Hi all -
New to the community/BMW world and just purchased a 14' 335i M Sport in EB. Had it for 2 days and I LOVE it. The luxury and the power & handling on this car is unbelievable. Estoril Blue was the ONLY color I was going to settle for on a F30, so I'm glad I was able to close this deal. The biggest bummer I have is that the original owner custom ordered this car and included all kinds of options EXCEPT ASSIST PKG. Really? I was extremely upset that this car did not have a back up camera. Did some research and there seems to be a solid aftermarket back up camera retrofit, so that'll be my first "mod". Will be lurking around this forum often; look forward to talking to you guys! |

Welcome! Beautiful car
Check out the Bimmertech for retrofitting stuff, from what I've seen their backup camera integrate directly with the iDrive and seems to work very well. |

Congrats! Looks great. I just picked up my '14 335i in AW a couple weeks ago. Slapped on the M performance exhaust and blacked out the wheels to go with the CF side mirrors, lip spoiler and grill. Pictures do not do these wheels justice. Here's mine:

I don't run a plate on my Z4 but my F30 came with one so I'm stuck with it. I wish I didn't have it though. I think the bumper plugs look worse and I'm not paying $30 for 2 Estoril plugs!

I actually bought it with holes drilled in and a standard front plate bracket already on. I told the dealership that part of my buying agreement meant BMW body shop would fill the holes properly because I did not want a front plate. They fixed up the holes and painted the front bumper and it looks brand new. However, I bought a "Sto N Sho" front plate bracket that I will be installing with 3m Automotive tape, hidden holes underneath bumper are optional. Plan to only display my front plate when I park because meter maids tend to be more rough than anyone else here in CA. In case you ever decide to get them filled by a body shop or switch to plugs, this is seems to be the best option based on my extensive research on this forum. http://shop.bigmikesperformanceparts.com/BMW_c12.htm |
