Car is Silver with Red interior, asking $36,400..whachu think? 😉

Edit: found it on AutoTrader. Looked at the CarFax. It's a BMWNA executive demo. That means the dealer bought it at a BMW dealer-only auction and got it at a very good price. You should be able to get at least $2,000 - $4,000 off that initial asking price and the dealer will still make an acceptable profit.

The website also shows a $1,500 financing rebate and available 0.9% financing.

It is a very nice car. It's a CPO, so that's good. You should clarify with the dealer if it's a standard CPO (6yr/100k) or an Elite (5yr/75k). Based on its mileage and age I'd expect it to be Elite, but on their website it appears to be listed as a standard CPO, which would be a nice bonus.

Edit: Sellers comments indicates 5/75, I guess Elite then? Still that means until 2021 or another 67K+ miles, I presume? We'll see, tomorrow.. Will update the thread...

I have to say that price does look really good. I may be wrong on my negotiation price range. If I recall correctly Sonic dealerships are notorious for not negotiating.

This seems like a pretty good deal but as was said earlier you can negotiate a bit. See how much you can get for maintenance package thrown in or if it can be standard cpo which would make it better than buying new.

I did check it out.. Drove nice, has all the desired options... They really didn't want to budge on price.. Plus, I had a trade, 2016 Camry SE (don't ask, took a bath on that deal!!)..

Anyway, bit of negative equity as the Camry market is pretty soft at the moment, especially with a whole new body style for 2018 - very Lexus F Sport like.

So... wanna sleep on it, payments were above where I want to be too... At the end of the day it is "just" a car... But oh, so NICE!!! Argghhhh!!!!

I think they mentioned the Elite Plan, 5/75.. not the standard CPO, 6/100.. Don't recall why?? But worth trying that angle, maybe??

Yes it's the elite CPO due to the low miles. So it's only slightly better than a new car warranty. Higher mileage cars are covered to 100k miles, but you already have like 20K or more miles so you're not really covered that much more than Elite except for the extra year I guess. I have seen the new camry, it looks awesome especially the new XSE with the quad exhaust, too bad it is still front wheel drive (maybe they'll make it all wheel drive like the Venza?) and the same 268 HP V6 from 2007 (I can't believe it's been the same engine and basic architecture for 10 years). I think it may still have the same 6 speed auto as well. They've tweeked the chasis over the years but it's still no driver's car. Let us know how it goes and show us pics when you get the chance!

Well, might hold off on the deal... I got "bent" on my 2016 Camry (long horror story)... As a result, the negative equity to be applied is not where I want to be payment-wise... Oh well.. Thanks for all those who offered input.. But, who knows.. 😉
