Traded the F30 for the F Type

So after months of deliberation, decided to trade the 335 for the 17 F Type S AWD.
the car will be delivered this week and I'm super excited to get it although I have mixes feelings about letting the F30 go. I will never leave the brand but my wife and I decided that we really didn't need another Sedan since it's just me and her and my god the lway this Jag looks how can you not love it. This will be my daily and I'll report on its drive and reliability as time goes. It's a different feeling driving the Jag as I found out during the test...

+1... one went past me on the motorway recently, think it must have been the S .... man that sound, it's an animal

Only reservation I have about the jags is the interior build/plastic quality which I've heard is a bit second rate, though I'm not sure you'll care about that much when you put your foot down!!

Oh, did you get the British Green???

That is my favorite color of the F-Type! Since they left Ford, Jags have really stepped up the game. My Wife is looking at replacing her aged SUV and the F-Pace is on the top of the list. Keep us informed of your overall impressions.

Great car, loads of fun! Almost bought the Jag yet legroom was too minimal for comfortable driving. Jag really has a great package there and it is great to drive.

beautiful looking car.. but I am 6'3" and feel extremely uncomfortable sitting inside. the gauges look strange and I am not a fan of Jaguars driving position. otherwise, I like them a lot. what do you people think about this?

and the exhaust sound.. I like the actual exhaust sound, and I'm sure if i am driving and causing all the racket I would love it, but from outside the car I honestly think the pops and crackles are overstated.. its too much. beautiful car though and I love that colour.

First saw one of these at Paris Motor show in 2014....IMHO one of the most beautiful cars to ever come out of the U.K. Now that Jag is no longer sharing parts with the Ford Group, interior quality is back to top notch, too. Congrats!

I had my doubts about interior quality as well but once I was inside the cabin I realized Jag had stepped it up. I got the extended leather which runs on most of the cabin and the sports seats...

Yes I was set on BRG and finally got it. Jag charges another $650 for that colour but I think it's worth it. We were debating to replace the X5 with the Ipace but it looked smaller than the X5 so wife didn't go for it. I will give updates as I get to drive it more, so far it's been nothing short of spectacular...
