msrp on mppsk changed? correct build code help?

i recently ordered a 340i and requested the MPPSK to be installed at port as part of the build.

referencing the MSRP listed on this thread:

i expected the MSRP to be $2,820 + ss tips ($256).

looking at build sheet provided for confirmation today i see a quoted MSRP of $3,195 (Z11) and $300 (Z1T) for "chrome exhaust tips".

has MSRP changed and is the Z1T the right code for the stainless steel tips for the MPPSK?

Not sure what the codes were exactly but I just ordered my 340 w/ MPPSK a few weeks ago and it cost $3,195 for the MPPSK port installed plus another $580 for the carbon fiber exhaust pipe finishers. I think the chrome tips were around $300. So yeah I'd say you're paying what most everyone else has paid from folks who have ordered within the last 6 months or so.

ok, good to know the MSRP is the same for someone else's build. i might as well get the carbon fiber finishers if the delta is no longer as large as it was. thanks for your input and your other threads were a great first read coming into bmw-land so thanks for your other shares and threads. i'm also a MD guy coming from a subaru so i can relate!

Port installed msrp is higher than after sales... supposedly to account for installation. But it is also negotiable invoice is $2,515 for the kit and $190 for the tips. Don't pay much more than that!
