Questions About Meth

Hello All,

I have JB4, BMS Intake, and ER Catless Downpipes, and I think its time to install the meth kit from BMS....

I have a couple questions for anyone that could help me out

1. About how much was it to install?

2. How difficult is it to maintain? Do i just have to make sure the tank is never empty?

3. Is it bad for the car? I don't want to run into any problems

4. Is it worth it? I def want more power.

Thanks!

Walter White makes the best meth LOL.

Seriously though, it is very safe, easy to maintain and definitely worth it.

1- Should be couple hours
2- Easy to maintain
3- Its really good for the car (better cooling, more octane)

My only questions are: Is it adjustable so it sprays all the time vs only at WOT? How long does the 1 gallon tank last?

It will only spray when on boost.

If you buy a BMS kit then it comes with their FSB which links to the JB4 and is controlled from that.

Would the BMS kit allow you to turn it on or off?

Only sprays under 100% WOT and when on meth mapping.

How long it lasts depends on your right foot

I got unexpected results on the dyno today. I had the BMS Methanol Injection kit recently installed on my 2016 428xi and the numbers showed more power output to the wheels on Map 2 than on Map 3. Running 50/50 mix.

With the BMS Meth kit is there a way of knowing when the meth is spraying? Would it be better to run Map 7?

Dyno chart attached.

Mods: JB4, Injen intake, Wagner Catless DP, AWE Quadtip Exhaust, BMS Meth

Update: I had a leaky fuel injector, I was getting a misfire code on cylinder 2. It was causing the JB4 to bounce back to Map 0 for safety precautions. Everything's working great now, probably around 300whp.
