340 B58 PURE STAGE 1 Turbo Testing

Saw this posted so figured I would share.

BMS just got their 2016 340i B58 back from PURE with the Stage1 turbo. The test vehicle is running the JB4, BMS B58 intake, BMS WMI, and PURE S1 turbo. Exhaust and emissions equipment all 100% unmodified. Boost juice and ~95 octane.

Boost up to about 23PSI.

Interested to see how the car does without WMI and downpipe.

This car has the factory downpipe and exhaust. WMI is required for the fueling end though. There is an injector IPW hard cap in the DME around 400whp. You can push over that but run leaner as you go. That is where the WMI comes in.

Hopefully a flash comes out sooner than later to help remove that cap

I've seen crazy numbers for F80 M3. I believe Pure modify turbo internals while keeping the casing stock.

Wonder why its only seeing 0 (or probably -2 or -4) degrees of timing advance in the mid range. I know the AFR is in the "acceptable range" but its certainly on the edge for a motor pushing that much power. I wouldn't be super comfortable with it...

Either way, very impressive numbers for this new platform. Awesome!
