Can buy M4 GTS because of M2 CS waitlist.

Hello,

I just got lucky and got a call from my dealer who has an M4 GTS for sale (Brand New @MSRP) even though I am on a wait list for an M2 GTS if it gets made. Please drop me a message if anybody's interested.

Congratulations on a great deal!. That car is worth a whole lot more than you paid for it. Here a dealer sold one at $70k over msrp and another had an auction.

I know a dealer in Belgium that still has an M4 GTS for sale. Brand new and for sale at MSRP. No buyer found yet.

Another M2 buyer bites the dust and decides to F off and get an M3 or M4 !

Seriously nice machine.
Seriously out of my budget.

Not sure if I would go for the M4 GTS over a potential M2 version even if i could swing the M4 GTS because i really DON'T want such a large car ... but the M4 GTS is seriously badass and also way more of a collectible than the M2.

Congratulations!

Garage List
My dealer in Houston has a black M4 GTS on the floor. They want $20k over MSRP.

I did not get the car. I just helped someone else get the car. I'm still waiting on the M2 special edition.

The reviews are coming in on the GTS and they are far from glowing...

waste of money considering you could get a 2014 991 turbo S for the same money and get MUCH more car.

Actually, the regular 2016 911 S is beating it in reviews (and yes it is a turbo).

The base price of an M4 GTS was €154.000 in our country. Just out of curiosity, how much is that BMW dealer asking for that M4 GTS?
I never seen one for less then €200.000. I wonder if those +€210.000 BMW M4 GTS that are for sale (17) in Europe actually get sold at this price range...
There are now 90+ 991 GT3 RS for sale in Germany...those cars when up big time at the launch and now they are coming down in price because it looks that nobody is paying the insane €250.000 some vendors are trying to get. So for less or the same money you can now get a 991 GT3 RS with equally low mileage.... Why on earth would someone prefer a GTS at this time I wonder?

People still asking $250k+ for the gt3 rs here. Way more than a gts. However a 991 gt3 is in the $150k range.

Yep, the RS is far more limited/exclusive than the base GT3. Already sold out. Not worth the $100K delta the dealers are asking

That's a matter of opinion. If you drive it, you will see that it is no less than a full on race car.
