Is anyone here planning on attending the BMWCCA-NJ Show & Shine on Saturday, October 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Circle BMW in Eatontown, NJ?

As of today, the forecast doesn't look that good for Saturday. I hope it improves.

Welp... guess I'm not going. BMW of Freehold has my car to replace the DCT handle (clear acrylic part was chipping and cracking), and somehow they broke something else and I won't have my car until monday. It sucks, because I got my 7yo on board and he was excited to come with me.

So pissed.

Did they give you a loaner car? If so, come in that. I know it won't be the same as coming in your car, but at least you can stop by.

Man... 99% of the fun is taking your own ride to the event.

They gave me an X3... brand new, 20-something miles. We didn't do a walkaround (I guess because it was brand new), he just handed me the keys and said "Brand new, put into service two days ago". So I grab the keys and go. And guess what I find on the bumper when I park at my office? A ding in the front bumper (pretty deep, paint chipped and everything). The one fricking time I don't walk around the car when I get it, of course it has a dent in it. I spoke with them and told them about the dent in the bumper and that I didnt do it, but I'm sure they don't believe me. Whatever...

Anyway, sorry for the OT rant. Hope you had a good time.
