Possible Purchase
So I opened up a thread in the e90 forums about replacing my TDI's with either the e90 335d or going with a newer f30 328d. I'm already fully aware of the pros and cons of the e90 diesel but I'm having a hard time finding a lot of user feedback on the f30 diesel's. What are you guys' thoughts? Any issues and do you recommend anything in particular I need to watch out for? Thanks in advance

The only issue with mine was the NOx sensor was bad right when I bought it (bought new 3/14 with 20 miles on it)
I'm at about 57k on it now without any issue aside from maintenance items. |

Couldn't tell you, but most people think they can drive a diesel like a gas, so they don't ever think about getting them warm. They aren't meant for a short commutes, and need to be ran every so often to clean the system out.
I've driven mine like I stole it since the first day I bought it (is didn't know about the break-in period until after I had already hit 10k) and haven't had any issues with it that wasn't a maintenance item aside from the NOx sensor. |

Wish there was more support for these 328d's on the forums but at least there's not a lot of threads about issues people are having either. |

Support for the d's are slowly starting to show up, so it won't be too much longer. Although, I have recently found a DPF delete downpipe for our cars, I'm just not sure where the entry point for the DEF is, so idk if it will fully work. |
